Miracle on Holcombe Blvd

There truly was a miracle yesterday. The doctors told us that Kelly would come out of surgery worse than she went in, because they didn't want us to panic when she came out paralyzed. They hoped that she would only be paralyzed in her right leg, but there was a chance her entire right side would be paralyzed.

Well, God stepped in and performed a miracle. There was so much power from so many people praying for Kelly that she came out of surgery better than when she went in. She looks awesome this morning. She's sitting up, brushing her teeth (you don't know what a joy it is until you cannot do it), wiggling her toes, moving her right foot and leg (just as good if not better than before) and having a good time. It is totally awesome and I want to thank everyone. There is nothing stronger than the power of prayer. There is no other explanation for her condition. Thank You - David

Hi Kelly, I told David today that you are going to be back on the bike in no time riding through beautiful Northern Cal. We will continue our prayers and huge hugs & love to you and everyone at MDA.

Wow! Isn't Blog Power amazing? How could we all have known how, and when, to pray without your beautiful updates. Keep 'em coming so we can have targeted and focused Kelly prayers. ;-) Kelly, your progress is a light for all of us. To be a faith-filled person is fulfulling, but there is nothing quite like seeing the outcome of one's prayers in action. You are that testimony. We love you and we would be laughing with great joy together if we were sharing space right now. Keep up your spirited battle -- He is with you all the way. Love and God's Infinite Blessings, Linda and little Ethan (P.S. I will offer up my Eucharist for you tomorrow at Mass)

My Dearest Kelly,

How I wish that I could give you a hug in person. Maybe God will allow this someday soon.
I carry you in my heart.

Hey Kelly and family, what great news I've read. I did say prayers for you Kelly and hope the good luck continues. Karen keeps me up to date and even though we've only met you a few times you are still kinda in the family. Good luck and please keep up the blog. Bless you.

Dearest Char, Marla, Kelly and David,
There is no stronger, purer more powerful healing energy in the universe than prayer. It has worked for me always. I am sorry to have been out of the loop for a few days, we have our four grandchildren with us in Florida this week and it has been busy but you have never been out of my thoughts and prayers.
God is Good, real GOOD!
I am so glad to hear the good news. I have been so worried about Kelly and the results of this surgery.
Love you all,
Victoria
God Bless You All!
